We are currently recruiting for an Area Security Officer to join the G4S team, working for a well-known site in Birmingham and the surrounding area!
Contract Information:
Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour
Hours: Average 42 hours per week
Shifts: Days, Nights and Weekends - 7am to 7pm or 7pm to 7am
Applicants must drive and have their own vehicle to get to sites.
SIA licence preferred, otherwise training can be provided for suitable candidates.
Your Time at Work
As an Area Security Officer, your duties include:
- Greeting staff and visitors
- Controlling access in and out of the building
- Patrolling the premises and ensuring security protocols are being adhered to
- Dealing with disturbances/ issues and security incidents
- Dealing with first aid and incident reporting

It is important to have great communication and customer service skills. You will also need to have strong IT skills and be able to use all forms of technology and software systems.
Our perfect Security Officer will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to always provide a friendly and professional service.
