About the Team Hiring Finance Team, UK Our Team is responsible for the processing of financial transactions; We are the gatekeeper of the Audited Annual Financial Statements We are in charge of Cash Management (A/P, A/R, etc.) in compliance with Corporate Group Policies and local regulations. We maintain a low DSO. We report monthly to the Group respecting the deadlines and perform analysis to explain the results vs budget. We are supporting the local business and work with all the functions (Sales, Order Operations, Tech, etc.). Our role is to help the UK Team to drive the business with kpi’s definitions in order for him to make the best decisions to grow and achieve the country target. Overview Role purpose/Objective The role of an Accountant is to assist the Finance Manager with the smooth running of the department. Completing all tasks in a timely and efficient manner. Key Responsibilities · Ownership of the Business Extract Reconciliation (Topline) - Weekly review and reconciliation of Sale and Cost of Sale accounts - Preparing reclassification journals - Monthly reconciliation of Earnback - Partner centre vs Credit notes received vs BE - Updating the different trackers (FX, Accrual reversal, shadow lines etc) on a regular basis - Assisting with the preparation of the Flash and Final Business Extract at Month End - Assisting with the preparation of Month End accruals - Preparing the Commission on Business Agent calculation monthly · Support on P&L analysis and reporting monthly actuals for Overheads - Reviewing P&L and reclassing costs when required, account reconciliations - Variance analysis and commentary - Calculating monthly Accruals & Prepayments, posting month-end journals and preparation of signed schedules - Updating the Overhead Schedule with actuals monthly - Preparation of T&E reports monthly - Assisting with Month End reporting ensuring deadlines are met · Support on AP function - Working closely with Finance Assistant, ensuring all costs are posted - Monitoring AP Aging, reconciling to TB and reviewing monthly with Finance Manager · Compliance with internal controls and procedures · Ability to step in and support when team members are away · Other ad hoc tasks to support wider team and Company · Completing assigned Month End tasks in timely manner and liaise closely with team and Finance Manager · Assisting the Finance Manager with improvements to systems & processes · Preparing documentation for external audits Responsibilities We are looking for talents that will enjoy, live and accelerate our culture At Graitec, We work together locally & globally with an Entrepreneurial mindset.
