Sales Director Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain
£75,000 + bonus + benefits
We’re partnering with a growing UK business within transportation and logistics that is hiring a Sales Director to lead and scale its UK sales function.
This role is ideal for an experienced Sales Manager, Head of Sales or Commercial Manager who is ready to step up into a full Sales Director position and wants a visible, hands on role.
Own and deliver the UK sales strategy
• Lead, develop and motivate a team of Business Development and Account Managers
• Personally manage and sponsor key customers and strategic accounts
• Stay close to customers and commercial conversations in a hands on capacity
• Define go to market approach, pricing and commercial priorities
• Opportunity to shape how sales and customer relationships are managed
• Hands on position with strong customer and commercial influence
• Ability to combine new business, account management and customer experience
• Clear mandate to build, improve and scale the sales function
Proven experience managing and growing sales or customer facing teams
• Strong background in B2B sales, account management or customer experience
• Experience owning targets, forecasting and pipeline performance
• Comfortable in customer facing roles, including key account ownership
• Someone ready for the step up into full Sales Director ownership
Customer experience, customer success or account management backgrounds are highly valued, as this is a role that stays close to customers rather than operating at arm’s length.
