The Role
As an Electrician, you will deliver high-quality electrical maintenance services across commercial properties and communal areas, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with current regulations and client standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out reactive and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical equipment within the client’s asset register
* Complete planned maintenance works in accordance with client specifications
* Compile remedial work lists following PPM visits
* Make recommendations on plant condition, including submitting Life Expired Asset reports where necessary
* Assist the Contracts Manager with preparing costings for remedial works
* Order materials for jobs and manage associated paperwork
* Take delivery of materials, check delivery notes, and hand documentation to the foreman
* Complete worksheets accurately and submit to Head Office weekly
* Attend training and Health & Safety courses as directed
* Follow company accident reporting procedures and site H&S guidelines
The Ideal Candidate
* Fully qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
* 18th Edition qualified
* Experience within a Facilities Management or commercial maintenance environment
* Full UK Driving Licence (company van provided)
* Strong fault-finding, organisational, and reporting skills
* Flexible approach to overtime and callouts
Working Hours
* Monday to Friday: 08:00 – 17:30
* Participation in callout rota as required
