Job Description
As the HSE Officer your responsibilities are as follows:
3. Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
4. Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to ensure compliance with regulations.
5. Provide guidance and training to staff on HSE standards and best practices.
6. To Develop and maintain the companies ISO 14001, 45001 standards
7. Monitor and report on HSE performance, identifying areas for improvement.
8. Investigate incidents and recommend measures to prevent recurrence.
9. Ensure all documentation and records are maintained accurately and up to date.
10. Collaborate with various departments to promote a culture of safety.
11. Stay updated on relevant legislation and industry standards in Sheffield and beyond.
The Successful Applicant
A successful HSE Officer should have:
12. A relevant qualification in health, safety, or environmental management.
13. Experience in the industrial or manufacturing sector is preferred.
14. Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and compliance requirements.
15. Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
16. Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation.
