HR Advisor - 6-Month Contract (Inside IR35)
Peterborough - Hybrid
£200 per day
This role provides high-quality HR support and guidance across the business. You'll manage a range of complex employee relations issues, support organisational initiatives, and act as a trusted partner to line managers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide commercially focused, practical HR advice to managers and employees
* Manage complex ER cases including performance, absence, grievances, and investigations
* Coach and support managers to help reduce formal ER cases and mitigate risk
* Support company-wide initiatives such as performance management, benefits, and organisational change
* Guide and support TUPE transfers, ensuring legal compliance
* Help promote talent and capability building across the business unit
* Review and suggest improvements to policies and procedures
* Partner with the ER Manager to ensure alignment and best practice
* Some UK travel may be required
Required Experience & Skills:
* CIPD-qualified or equivalent degree
* Significant HR generalist experience supporting large employee populations (500+)
* Strong knowledge of UK employment law and case law
* Demonstrated experience in absence management, performance, TUPE, grievances, and investigations
* Ability to manage projects and deliver HR initiatives
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint)
* Experience with HRIS (Workday desirable)
