About the Role
As Retail Manager, you'll take full responsibility for the day-to-day running and overall performance of the store, while also supporting the wider retail operation in other locations when required.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll be visible on the shop floor, driving sales, maintaining high standards, and leading your team from the front. You'll play a key part in delivering strong commercial results, efficient operations, and a consistently excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and drive sales activity to improve overall store performance
* Set clear targets and support the team in achieving them
* Lead from the front, motivating the team and maintaining high service standards
* Make sure customers receive a consistently good experience
* Deal with any issues or complaints quickly and professionally
* Build strong relationships with customers and regular clients
* Oversee the day-to-day running of the store
* Work closely with the service team to manage returns and ensure stock is processed correctly
* Keep stock levels in check and make the best use of retail space
* Recruit, train, and develop your team
* Carry out regular reviews and provide ongoing support and feedback
* Create a positive, productive working environment
* Ensure the store is operating in line with company policies and safety standards
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised environment
* Keep up to date with industry trends and best practice

* Strong leadership and team management experience
* Confident communicator with good people skills
* Commercially aware with a problem-solving mindset
* Comfortable using retail systems and stock control tools
* Background in sales/retail
* Ability to work under pressure
