We are on a transformative journey to enhance our weekend lettings service with a new role and café offering. We are looking to build a team of Community Facilities Hosts to be at the heart of this venture and our lettings community.
About the role:
1. Engage with Visitors: Welcome groups such as our Community Gardening Club and charities like Wheels for All. Build positive relationships with all site attendees, representing our school professionally.
2. Launching and Developing the Café: Help establish our new café as the centrepiece of the weekend experience by serving and preparing food. Contribute to building the offering and welcoming more visitors.
3. Supporting Evening Events: Assist with occasional school events such as proms, ensuring smooth operations and memorable experiences.
4. Driving Growth and Innovation: Share ideas to improve services, attract visitors, and enhance community experience.
This role offers a unique opportunity to create a welcoming space for our vibrant community. Your ideas will be valued, and improvements will benefit the school directly, supporting teaching and learning.
If you're enthusiastic, proactive, and adaptable, with experience in hospitality, customer service, leisure, or facility management, we want to hear from you. A positive attitude and willingness to contribute ideas are essential.
Wood Green School has a diverse weekend community, offering accessible facilities for music, art, martial arts, hockey, football, and more. This provides vital revenue to support our school.
