Our client based in Elsham, Brigg is a well-established business that provides packaging solutions into the healthcare sector. They currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Lamination Operator to join their team! This is a permanent opportunity, working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern of 2 days, followed by 2 nights (06:00-18:00 / 18:00-06:00), with average weekly contractual hours of 42 per week. The basic annual salary for the role is £31,449 per annum, with the opportunity for overtime at enhanced rates. The company also offers a quarterly Gainshare scheme, up to 5 based on site KPI's. We are looking for an experienced Lamination Operator, who is able to operate one of our lamination machines to a high standard, with minimal non-conformance. Ensuring that all substrates that are laminated to the correct technical standards and to assist the lamination department in achieving their targets. Duties of the role include:- Ensure all standard operating procedures are adhered to (e.g., PPE, health and safety, hygiene, quality) Working to the production plan and following instructions, operating machine as per training given to meet quality and efficiency standards Processing of various film substrates to ensure functionality of all products produced Ensure information is entered onto SAP correctly and accurately as per training given Ensure that adhesives are mixed correctly and to the correct ratios Setting the machine accurately including coat weight, machine pressures, product appearance, speed of machine, correct gaps and temperatures Complete all quality checks for processes and report any issues to Line manager Maintain good housekeeping around lamination machines. Lamination machines must be kept clean at all times inclusive of 5s audits.
