Job Title: SEN Tutor
Location: Redbridge
Salary: £150 – £220 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-Time | Monday – Friday, –
GSL Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Tutor to join a specialist school in Redbridge. The school supports pupils with a range of needs, including Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Autism (ASC), and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact by providing tailored tuition that helps pupils thrive both academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver individualised and small-group tuition tailored to pupils’ needs.
* Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and SENCOs to ensure holistic support.
* Implement and follow EHCPs (Education, Health and Care Plans) and behaviour management strategies.
* Create a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment.
Candidate Requirements:
* QTS, QTLS, or equivalent recognised teaching/tutoring qualification.
* Previous experience working within an SEN setting is highly desirable.
* Strong adaptability, patience, and a proactive attitude.
* Excellent knowledge of safeguarding and behaviour management practices.
