What to expect on Reception
You’ll be working within a team of 3 where your focus is to provide an exceptional service to our clients and the best care possible to their pets - providing a link between clients and the clinical team via in person visits, email and phone calls.
Your great customer service during a client’s pet visit will make sure they feel welcome and supported. At the completion of their visit with their pet, your helpful and efficient manner will ensure they look forward to their next visit.
You’ll be able to efficiently manage in person visits, take payments, answer phone queries, respond to emails and sort future bookings. Coordinating the smooth running of the day-to-day routines of the practice will be done using our electronic booking system, so computer literacy is a must.
Cleaning reception as incidents occur along with general mid-day and end of day is expected for pet and team safety. Data Protection awareness is required to comply with company and government security regulations. Our Commitment to Colleague Support: We have a zero tolerance for aggressive/abusive/threatening clients. To encourage good behaviour from clients we have recorded phone lines and CCTV.
This is a full time position working 40 hours a week with no on call, no weekend working or out of hours requirements. We have a dedicated lunch break mid-day so all colleagues can relax, have a cuppa and put their feet up!
