We are looking for a passionate, energetic and genuinely hospitality focused Barista to join the team at our newly re-launched Yurt Café at The Cricketers on the Green.
This is not just a coffee job. We are building a busy, quality driven café experience focused around exceptional coffee, warm service and creating a destination people want to return to daily. From morning coffees and matcha to toasties, pastries and weekend brunch trade, we are looking for somebody who thrives in a fast paced environment and genuinely loves looking after people.
The role will involve:
• Preparing high quality coffee consistently during busy periods
• Delivering warm, friendly and professional service
• Working with a premium La Marzocco coffee setup using onlky the best Origin Speciality coffee beans
• Helping maintain standards across cleanliness, organisation and presentation
• Supporting with light food preparation and service
• Creating a positive atmosphere and being part of a strong opening team culture
• Handling busy services calmly and efficiently
We are looking for somebody who:
• Has previous barista experience in a quality café or hospitality environment
• Works well under pressure and can manage high volume periods confidently
• Has excellent attention to detail
• Is reliable, hardworking and organised
• Has a genuine passion for hospitality and guest experience
• Brings energy, personality and positivity to the team
