 
        We are seeking an experienced Setting Out Engineer to support a sheet piling and temporary works package on a major civil engineering project in Kensington. This is a site-based role, reporting to the Project Manager, and will suit someone with strong experience in piling, temporary works, and ground engineering environments. Key Responsibilities * Setting out for sheet piling and associated works (temporary and permanent). * Maintaining accurate site records and as-built surveys. * Working closely with the Site Manager, Piling Supervisor, and design team to ensure accurate delivery of works. * Managing QA documentation, ITPs, and daily reporting. * Monitoring tolerances, pile positioning, and alignment. * Liaising with subcontractors and ensuring work is carried out safely and to specification. Requirements * Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer in piling or deep excavation environments. * Strong knowledge of sheet piling techniques and temporary works. * Proficient with Leica or Trimble instruments and AutoCAD. * CSCS card required; SMSTS/SSSTS and First Aid preferred. * Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with site teams. Contract Details * Outside IR35 engagement (CIS or Ltd company). * 3-month initial duration with possible extension. * Start: Immediate. * Competitive day rate: £270 – £350, depending on experience.
