We have an immediate opening for the regular, full-time position of Project Manager. This is an exciting time for the District as we embark on some large scale projects that will impact the future of the region and we are looking for the right person to join our team! The successful candidate will have a related degree, Project Management Professional (PMP) designation, and be registered as a Technologist with the Applied Science Technologists and Technicians of BC (ASTTBC) or a comparable professional association.
You possess a minimum of five years of experience managing complex capital and operational projects of various sizes, preferably in a local government setting. You are an effective leader with a broad understanding of construction trades work and the ability to organize and prioritize multiple time-sensitive assignments in a complex, high volume work environment.
Reporting to the General Manager, Utilities, the Project Manager is responsible for leading staff, consultants and contractors in the construction and implementation of capital and operational projects of varying size and scope. The Project Manager will ensure that a superior finished project will be delivered on time and on budget.

This is a regular, full-time position (35 hours/week) with an annual salary range of $108,217 to $118,700, as well as an extensive benefits package and generous compressed work schedule.
