About the Mid‑Markets Team
The Mid‑Markets team serves privately‑owned businesses across the UK. We support over 13,000 such businesses, from entrepreneurial start‑ups to multi‑million‑pound turnover international groups.
About the Role
As a graduate trainee you will complete a three‑year training contract that provides a clear progression path and hands‑on experience in audit and advisory.
Year 1
* Master the art of auditing: Prepare meticulous audit documents using the latest software and methodologies.
* Financial statements: Develop a deep understanding of balance sheets, income statements and cash flows.
* Work side by side with clients: Immerse yourself in diverse businesses to understand their operations and challenges.
* Build relationships: Engage with key stakeholders across clients and internal teams.
Years 2 and 3
In the second and third year you will take on increasingly complex audit work, including revenue recognition, valuation and risk assessments. You will lead engagements, mentor junior team members and embark on a permanent career with Forvis Mazars.
