A leading Top 20 Accountancy practice is looking to recruit a Client Manager (Accountancy) to join the team at the firm’s Newbury office. The role would suit someone who is qualified ACCA or ACA with at least three years’ PQE, with experience of working at manager level within a busy accountancy practice environment.
The firm is working on a hybrid working model with three days in the office and two days working from home and the successful candidate will receive an excellent benefits package.
The primary function of the role will be to assist the Directors in managing their portfolio of company, partnership and sole trader clients through supervising team members and reviewing work produced.
As Client Manager (Accountancy) your responsibilities will include:
Reviewing accounts for limited companies (non audit), partnerships and sole traders
1. Review of personal and partnership tax computations
2. Liaising and meeting with clients where appropriate to clear queries and discuss accounts and tax position
3. Support the Directors with managing their portfolios, including client onboarding and billing
4. Assist, mentor and review work of trainees and junior team members
5. Assisting clients and employees with VAT queries and any general queries they may have
