The Role
At Charles Tyrwhitt, our purpose is to “Make it easy for men to dress well,” and we can’t do that without our specialist teams.
We are currently seeking a Senior Sales Assistant to work with Chris and the team at our Norwich store.
This is a 20-hour per week contract, with overtime available. Candidates must be flexible to work on weekdays and weekends.
What you will be doing
As a Senior Sales Assistant, you will collaborate with the store management team to ensure the store operates safely and legally. You will be responsible for opening and closing the store, providing expert product knowledge to customers, and managing appointments for custom, customer, and wedding services. You will support the Store Supervisor in training and coaching Sales Assistants, maximize sales opportunities to meet and exceed targets, and maintain high visual merchandising standards. Additionally, you will handle deliveries, transfers, and merchandise efficiently, while adhering to health & safety, security, and company guidelines.
What we are looking for
Experience in retail and management is preferred but not essential. We value enthusiasm, drive, motivation, and strong interpersonal and communication skills. Your ability to build rapport quickly and deliver exceptional customer service is key to success in this role.
What you can expect from us
Our benefits include:
* Excellent bonus scheme with quarterly bonuses when targets are met.
* Uniform allowance refreshed every 6 months.
* Support for commuting through cycle to work schemes, relocation packages, and season ticket loans for London stores.
* Fun fund for social activities and team-building events.
* Professional development through The Tyrwhitt Academy, including product knowledge and customer service training, with opportunities for apprenticeship qualifications.
