This Cover Supervisor role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about education and looking to gain valuable classroom experience. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising whole classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff, ensuring students remain engaged and on task with the work provided. Key Responsibilities of the Cover Supervisor: Supervising students across a range of subjects in the absence of the class teacher. Delivering pre-set lesson plans and ensuring students complete assigned work. Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies. Supporting students with their learning and maintaining engagement. Providing feedback to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour. Ensuring a safe, positive and productive learning environment. The Ideal Cover Supervisor Will: Have previous experience working with young people (school-based experience is desirable). Be confident managing classroom behaviour. Possess strong communication and organisational skills. Be adaptable, proactive and resilient.
