Main Purpose of the Role

£12,634 - £13,534 (18 Hours per week, Term-time only)
Milnathort Primary School Nursery

Milnathort Primary Nursery are seeking a highly motivated Early Childhood Practitioner (ECP) to work in our nursery.

As an ECP you will be responsible for the care and learning of a group of children with a focus on learning through play.

This role requires the successful candidate to be able to plan opportunities taking account of learners interests and assess progress.

Milnathort nursery has a very welcoming environment, which makes best use of our outdoor areas.

Skills & Experience Required

For the role of Early Childhood Practitioner, you should hold an appropriate qualification, SNNEB, NNEB, HNC, SCQF level 7 equivalent or SVQ 3 in Childcare and Education or SVQ 3 Social Services (Children and Young People, as well as have the eligibility to register with SSSC.

The successful candidate will be a driven professional with appropriate Nursery experience and a passion for getting it right for every child.

They will be able to think 'on their feet' and enjoy a varied role in order to support a happy, busy nursery putting children's needs first.

You will have excellent communication skills and have the ability to build strong relationships with children, families and colleagues alike.

We are looking for a fun, caring, committed and dedicated individual.

Working as part of a large team the successful candidate will be able to be work well with others and able to work on their own initiative.
