Overview of role:
To deliver a high standard of learning, development and care for children aged 3-4 years. To ensure that the reception class is a safe environment for children, staff and others. To develop partnerships with parents/carers to increase involvement in their child’s development.
Key details:
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday ( 8.15am- 3.45pm)
Term-time Only (39 weeks)
Wage: £7.55 per hour.
Location: Ellergreen Road, Liverpool L11 2RY
Apprenticeship details:
Qualification: Level 2/3 Early Years
Duration of course: 19 months
Training Provider: LMP Education (Rated No 1 Training Provider in the UK!)
All learning delivered online/ remotely alongside placement at school.
Full Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate a programme of activities suitable to the age range of children in your area in conjunction with other staff
Record accidents in the accident book
Ensure each child is collected by someone known to the setting
To actively promote and support the safeguarding of children and young people in the workplace, ensuring Setting policies and procedures are observed at all times
To develop your role within the team especially with regard as a key worker
Support all staff and engage in a good staff team

Qualifications Requirements:
GCSE or equivalent (Functional skills) English (Grade 4) essential
GCSE or equivalent (Functional skills) Maths (Grade 4) essential
