About the role
We are currently offering 1 permanent part time position and 1 casual position at our Wembley Residential Age Care Home. Our dedicated team strives to provide our residents with a wide variety of nutritious meal options tailored to their care plans, while prioritising safe food practices and promoting overall wellbeing. The successful candidates will be responsible for kitchen and food preparation not limited to ingredient checklists, basic food preparation, serving of meals, assisting the chef, stock rotation and overall effective cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment or something of that effect.

You will possess a caring nature, be motivated to make a difference, and eager to join a team that is dedicated to improving the lives of others daily.
To achieve success in this role, the following qualifications or attributes are desired:
* Safe Food Handling Certificate (obtained within the last 12 months)
* Infection Prevention Control training – IPC
* Sound knowledge of Food Standards Australia New Zealand and dietary nutrition requirements
* Excellent interpersonal skills and participation as an active member of a team
* Good time management and documentation skills
* Good standard of written and spoken English
* Evidence of Covid and Influenza Vaccination (preferable)
* National Police Clearance (obtained within the last 6 months)
