Elementa Support Services is working with a range of supportive and forward-thinking secondary schools to recruit enthusiastic and committed Teachers of English. As a Teacher of English, you will:
* Deliver engaging and creative English lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
* Plan, prepare, and assess work in line with the national curriculum
* Support students of varying abilities, including those with additional learning needs
* Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
* Monitor and report on pupil progress and attainment
* Contribute to wider school life and departmental development
We are looking for someone who:
* Has experience teaching English in UK secondary schools
* Is passionate about raising attainment and inspiring a love of reading and writing
* Has strong classroom management and organisational skills
* Is adaptable, reliable, and able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
* Is committed to safeguarding and inclusive educational practice
* Is willing to engage in ongoing professional development
