Summary:

Compass Associates are delighted to be partnering with a leading provider of mental health and addiction recovery services as they launch a flagship, therapy-led residential programme in North West London.

This ground breaking service is designed for individuals who do not require medical detox but would benefit from immersive, structured, and trauma-informed care. Offering placements of 14, 28, or 42 days, the setting focuses on both substance and behavioural addictions, underpinned by modern, non-12-step, harm-reduction principles.

We are now seeking a passionate and experienced Addiction Therapy Lead to take a senior clinical role in this dynamic and purpose-driven environment.

Your Role at a Glance:

As Addiction Therapy Lead, you’ll be instrumental in guiding therapeutic delivery and service culture from day one. This role blends group and individual therapy with clinical leadership, offering you a rare opportunity to shape a truly person-centred model of addiction recovery.

You’ll supervise junior therapists, contribute to service development, and work within a highly supportive multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based interventions that promote sustainable, empowering change.

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver high-quality, evidence-based 1:1 and group therapy
* Provide clinical supervision to junior therapists (1–2 per month)
* Lead and contribute to clinical case reviews and MDT planning
* Guide less experienced team members and support complex client work
* Take ownership of a key service area and contribute to operational development
* Ensure high standards of documentation and clinical governance
* Uphold best practice standards and national guidelines
* Represent the therapy team in internal and external communications
* Champion a trauma-informed, client-led recovery ethos

What We’re Looking For:

* Full accreditation with BACP, BABCP, or HCPC
* Experienced Therapy Manager/Lead in a complex mental health/addiction/recovery service
* Minimum 2 years experience in addiction and recovery services
* Experience facilitating both group and individual therapy
* Experience with trauma-informed care and harm-reduction models
* Strong leadership qualities with an interest in service development
* Passion for ethical, collaborative, and client-led care

Why Join?:

* Influence the direction of a flagship new service
* Genuine opportunity to deliver care your way - person-centred, therapeutic, and empowering
* Structured CPD pathway and internal career progression
* 33 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays)
* Additional birthday leave
* Access to health & wellbeing benefits portal
* Free parking & fully funded DBS
* Clear salary progression structure
