Role | Litigation Solicitor
Experience | 4–7 years’ PQE
Based | Manchester (3–4 days office-based)
Offer | £40,000 – £60,000 per annum
We’re working with a well-established Manchester-based law firm who are looking to recruit a 4–7 year PQE Litigation Solicitor to join their busy team.
This is a mixed caseload role offering strong autonomy and genuine responsibility. The firm is looking to appoint ASAP and is open to hiring one, potentially two, solicitors.
Typical Duties Would Include:
* Manage a mixed caseload of civil litigation matters from instruction through to resolution
* Draft pleadings, witness statements, applications and settlement agreements
* Conduct legal research and provide clear, practical advice to clients
* Handle negotiations and alternative dispute resolution where appropriate
* Prepare cases for hearings and attend court where required
* Maintain accurate file management in line with regulatory and firm standards
Successful Candidate:
* Qualified Solicitor with 4–7 years’ PQE in litigation
* Strong experience in claimant personal injury work
* Comfortable handling a mixed caseload including general civil litigation and debt recovery
* Able to work independently with minimal supervision
