Role Description
This is a full‑time, on‑site position based in the Greater Sheffield Area. The CNC Turner Setter/Operator/Programmer will set up, program, and operate CNC turning machines. Daily tasks include reading technical drawings, programming machines, performing quality checks, troubleshooting, and ensuring adherence to safety and production standards. The role requires a commitment to precision, efficient production processes, and collaboration with teammates.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in CNC programming, setting, and operation.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Strong attention to detail and experience in quality checks.
* Knowledge of machining practices and tools, and troubleshooting skills.
* Understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.
* Problem‑solving skills with the ability to work under deadlines.
* Previous experience in the engineering or manufacturing industries is a plus.
* Relevant certification or vocational training in CNC machining or engineering.
