Subject Specialist Teachers – South Yorkshire
Teaching Personnel is recruiting Subject Specialist Teachers to work across a range of secondary schools in South Yorkshire, including Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley and Doncaster. We are welcoming applications from both qualified teachers and experienced unqualified subject specialists with strong curriculum knowledge.

The Role
As a Subject Specialist Teacher, you will:
* Deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons within your subject area
* Adapt teaching to meet the needs of diverse learners
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively
* Assess and track student progress where required
* Work collaboratively with school staff to maintain high teaching standards
What We’re Looking For
* Strong subject knowledge in a secondary curriculum area
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred but not essential for some roles
* Previous experience teaching or tutoring at secondary level
* Confident classroom management and communication skills
* A commitment to safeguarding and supporting young people

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
