Project Manager Location: Cheltenham, Gloucestershire (hybrid working) We’re looking for a driven individual to lead and manage a portfolio of infrastructure, networks, and digital workplace projects across our global organisation as a Project Manager for a 12 month Fixed-Term Contract. In this role, you’ll be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing technology initiatives from inception to completion - ensuring they align with business goals, meet stakeholder needs, and are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. You’ll work closely with internal teams, partners, and senior stakeholders to deliver high‑quality technical solutions that drive operational excellence and business value. Key Responsibilities: Project Management: Lead and manage multiple infrastructure, network, and digital workplace projects across the full lifecycle. Ensure all projects are delivered to agreed timelines, scope, and budget. Stakeholder Engagement: Work with Group IT, Business Units, Group Communications, and other key stakeholders to define requirements, objectives, and deliverables. Resource Management: Coordinate cross‑functional teams, including internal IT staff, external vendors, and third‑party contractors. Risk & Issue Management: Identify risks early and develop effective mitigation strategies. Demonstrate strong issue management and resolution capability. Project Compliance: Ensure adherence to IT governance, security standards, and regulatory requirements. Drive quality assurance across all project deliverables. Communication: Maintain clear, consistent communication with teams and leadership. Provide regular project updates, status reports, and progress summaries. Change Management: Support and coordinate change management and communication activities to ensure smooth project adoption. Your Experience & Skills: Project Management Expertise: Proven experience delivering large‑scale, global network transformation projects (to time, cost, and scope). Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and digital workplace solutions. Leadership: Skilled at leading, motivating, and guiding cross-functional teams and external partners. Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels. Problem-Solving : Strong analytical thinking with the ability to make informed, data-driven decisions. PPM Tooling: Experienced with project planning, reporting, and delivery using PPM tools. Third-Party Management: Demonstrated ability to manage outcome-based, fixed-price contracts and solution partners. Nice to Have: Project management qualifications (PRINCE2, PPM, etc.) Experience with Agile frameworks or Agile delivery certification Prior technical experience in Infrastructure or Digital Workplace domains Strong working knowledge of M365 and E5 licensing Experience with tools such as Triskell, MS Project, Jira, and Azure DevOps Spirax Group is a FTSE100 and FTSE4Good multi-national industrial engineering Group with expertise in the control and management of steam, electric thermal solutions, peristaltic pumping and associated fluid technologies.
