The role:
Our client is a fast growing value retailer in the UK, who want to apply their focus to growing our brand through a variety of digital and traditional channels. This is broad-ranging role that offers autonomy by working within an entrepreneurial trading environment, our core aim is to generate more footfall into our stores that in turn will grow sales.
1. Help to identify new and effective marketing campaigns.
2. Manage and refresh website content.
3. Liaise with buying to create engaging social media posts to grow reach.
4. Create impactful traditional marketing materials such as flyers for new store openings.
5. Liaise with our supply base to coordinate instore marketing activity such as branded themed bays and new range launches.
6. Liaise with retained partners on advertising, print, press, photography.
7. Create marketing strategy and pipeline across both digital and traditional marketing channels.
8. Draft valuable and engaging content for both digital and traditional marketing channels.
9. Manage POS pipelines from the design stage to store layout.
10. Create a activity plan for the wider business so we have a seasonal/event activity plan.
11. Manage the marketing and business development expenditure and budget.
12. Create key but simple dashboards that track progress and growth on all social platforms and our website.
The successful candidate:
Applications are sought from Marketing Executives with a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience within a similar role, preferably within a retail business, those with experience within a wholesale B2B background are accepted.
