Pastoral Support Officer – St Michael's CE Middle School
We are looking for a Pastoral Support Officer to join our dynamic pastoral team at St Michael's CE Middle School. This Part Time – Term Time Only role is 19.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year, on a Permanent basis, with an approximate start date of 01‑Sep‑2026. The salary ranges from £11,782 to £12,355 per annum (Grade 6 pay award pending).
The pastoral team safeguards and supports students across the middle school age range, working alongside parents, staff and outside agencies to achieve the best outcomes for pupils. The successful candidate will be versatile in their approaches and reflect the school’s vision of Each person, uniquely made in God’s image, merits the best we can give.
* Provide general pastoral support to pupils and parents to help them flourish at school.
* Work closely with outside agencies, the attendance leader and the SEND department.
* Collaborate with and be line managed by a member of the school’s Senior Leadership Team.
