Responsibilities
Ensure professional and effective management of receipt/despatch of mail and small stores under direct supervision, responsible for delivering exceptional service, supporting business needs, and facilitating effective communication within the mail and stores department. Assist with administrative tasks and additional demands set by supervisors and managers. Work closely with all WPS team members to provide a proactive and positive approach to meet business needs.
Job duties
* Support receipt and despatch of post and stores, including documentation and processes
* Ensure exceptional customer service through sound judgment and clear direction, meeting needs with total satisfaction
* Provide prompt, efficient, professional, and courteous responses to visitors and internal customers via face-to-face interactions, telephone, or email
* Respond professionally and courteously to all visitors and callers
* Support other team members actively
* Adhere to Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators
* Maintain a high level of attention to detail in service delivery
* Collect data, generate reports, and maintain records as required
* Provide operational support to management as needed
* Gather information for reporting and track/resolving issues
* Comply with company and statutory requirements regarding health, safety, fire, and hygiene
* Communicate with line managers regarding holiday and sickness cover, and assist with covering absences when required
