Procurement Officer / Procurement Coordinator

We’re supporting a fast-growing engineering firm in Central Scotland that’s looking for someone who knows how to make procurement sing—not just process orders. If you get a buzz from sourcing tricky kit, negotiating smartly, and generally being the person everyone realises they can’t run a project without… let’s talk.


What you’ll be doing

✔ Managing suppliers and onboarding new ones

✔ Purchasing equipment, tooling and consumables

✔ Sourcing specialist gases and chemicals

✔ Handling logistics, couriers and transport

✔ Keeping documentation squeaky clean

✔ Improving cost, speed and process


What you’ll need

🔧 Procurement background (engineering / technical preferred)

📦 Logistics + supply chain understanding

📁 Strong documentation skills

🤝 Confident stakeholder & supplier manager

🧠 Able to juggle priorities (without dropping anything important)


Bonus points if you’ve worked with:

* Industrial gases (liquid nitrogen, isopentane etc.)
* Tooling or equipment for engineering projects
