Resolving issues that arise between different data layers and opposing co-ordinate systems across the applications utilised in the business. Publishing online maps and data which can be viewed and shared within the organisation or with the public. Survey areas that have incomplete or missing GIS or Telecoms Physical Infrastructure data Identifying asset types and dimensions and recording them accurately Assist in the maintenance of up to date and accurate records of all network inventory from the Fibrus build programme. Support with the upkeep and management of data used in Fibrus GIS products. Producing ModelBuilder’s or automation workflows utilising ArcPy WHAT WILL YOU BRING? The ideal candidate will be a passionate recent Graduate eager to pursue a career in GIS and may come from a GIS/CAD/BIM background. You will be experienced in the use of ESRI ArcGIS Desktop and ArcGIS Pro, web GIS in ArcGIS Online/ Portal for ArcGIS Other open-source GIS/CAD/BIM skills are also desirable. You will have experience in a variety of data sources and data formats and using Arcade, Python, ModelBuilder & Dynamo. Understanding of Feature Manipulation Engines (FME) and other automated processes. Knowledge of Ordnance Survey suite of mapping products beneficial You will have practical knowledge of interactive web-based GIS and/or enterprise GIS technologies. Desirable: An understanding of Fibre Optics in a Telecoms environment. BIM and/or 3D GIS knowledge. Basic understanding of surveying or field-based data capture experience.
