Job Description
You will act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, supporting the negotiation and delivery of complex client engagements. Key responsibilities include:
3. Advising on, drafting, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements, including MSAs, framework agreements, and strategic partnerships
4. Supporting client-facing teams with contract negotiations and legal queries, including engagement with client legal and procurement functions
5. Partnering with internal stakeholders across risk, finance and operations to ensure compliance and alignment with business objectives
6. Providing pragmatic, commercially focused guidance on risk management and regulatory requirements
7. Supporting the development and delivery of legal training to enhance contract awareness across the business
8. Reviewing and improving contract templates, policies and processes
9. Advising on supplier and technology-related agreements, including SaaS and professional services contracts
The Successful Applicant
Key requirements:
10. Qualified solicitor (England & Wales)
11. Strong experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, ideally gained within professional services, technology, or a similarly complex environment
12. Working knowledge of UK data protection legislation (UK GDPR)
13. Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
14. Organised, detail-oriented and able to manage competing priorities independently
