About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Account Executive to join a growing commercial team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in developing new business, managing client relationships, and ensuring clients receive tailored advice and exceptional service.
This is a proactive, client-facing role that blends business development, account management, and industry expertise. You’ll have the opportunity to make an impact, work closely with a supportive team, and progress your career in a dynamic environment.
The successful candidate will inherit a substantial book of clients worth approximately £200,000 and will support business growth through proactive client service and new business development
Key Responsibilities

 Act as a trusted advisor, building strong and lasting client relationships.
 * 
 Proactively identify new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and research.
 * 
 Manage a portfolio of commercial clients, handling renewals, negotiations, and policy reviews.
 * 
 Deliver bespoke insurance solutions tailored to each client’s business needs.
 * 
 Stay up to date with market trends, regulations, and emerging risks to provide the best advice.
 * 
 Mentor and support junior colleagues, contributing to a collaborative team culture.
 * 
 Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, maintaining accurate client records.
What We’re Looking For
 * 
 Proven experience as an Account Executive within commercial insurance.
 * 
 Strong track record in new business development and client retention.
 * 
 Solid knowledge of insurance products, markets, and underwriting processes.
 * 
 Confident communicator with excellent relationship-building skills.
 * 
 Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
 * 
 Comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Desirable
 * 
 CII/ACII qualification (or working towards it – full support available).
 * 
 Experience using Acturis or similar insurance systems.
