Research and Innovation Services (RISe) are seeking to appoint a Research Governance Support Officer to join the Research Environment Team to provide support to the University over a range of activities relating to research ethics and governance. This role will work with the Research Governance Manager to provide specific support for the ethics processes and Ethics Committee / sub- Committees across the University. The post holder will be responsible for receiving and processing ethics applications, servicing meetings of the University Ethics Sub-group and other relevant committees and groups, maintaining accurate records and liaising with relevant colleagues both within Faculties and at a university level.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the essential requirements, which include excellent communication, record-keeping and organisational skills as well as being an effective team worker.
The university is currently operating a hybrid-model of working. However, the successful candidate would be expected to work on campus for part of the week.
If you are a successful candidate and this position will be your first professional services role at the University (or you are currently employed by PSS Ltd), you will be employed by Professional and Support Services Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the University of South Wales, which provides services to the University and Colleges.
