This is a well established and long standing SEN school it is highly regarded for its continued success and dedication to offering a pioneering education to their learners with high functioning ASC. This setting offers a award winning school setting to learners aged between 5 and 19 years of age and currently has 90+ pupils on role. The school would love to welcome with open arms a permanent SEN TA to support on a 1:1 and whole class basis. This role is needed Monday:Friday 8:30:4:30 daily, this is a term time only role. The school support and educates learners with Autism, Aspergers and other associated learning difficulties and are proud to offer a curriculum that is both creative, broad and encompasses recreational activities. * Must be a resilient, caring and committed individual keen to support SEN learners in a education setting
* Care or Education experience desirable but not essential
* Eligibility to work in the UK
* GCSE in Maths and English or equivalent
Responsibilities:
* Supporting KS1: KS4 SEN learners on a 1:1, small group and classroom basis
* Communicating with parents and carers over pupils progress and participating in departmental meetings, parents evenings and whole school training events
