Overall Purpose of Job
Are you passionate about ensuring business compliance and driving value from third-party relationships?
We are seeking a dedicated Third Party Risk Management and Supplier Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in enhancing our TPRM framework and building organizational capability to foster compliance and effective third-party management.
Key Accountabilities
1. Support the P&P strategic vision and development plan.
2. Stay abreast of external market trends related to TPRM, identifying innovative practices and opportunities for improvement.
3. Support the drive to establish a business-wide cultural awareness of the value derived from partnering with the P&P function.
4. Manage challenges from the BRM community regarding TPRM assurance outcomes and interpretations of best practice.
5. Support building the procurement function and wider organizational capability by developing the skills of the BRM group and budget holders to enable improved TPRM.
6. Contribute to establishing ongoing operating plans to develop and strengthen the function.
7. Provide support to the Senior Sourcing and Supplier Manager(s) on key projects as required.
8. Support the business on lower-value business-led sourcing activity to aid compliance with third-party risk management frameworks.
9. Build the capability of the BRM community to manage risk and to extract enhanced third-party performance and value for money.
10. Ensure that material outsource and strategic suppliers have compliant third-party risk management through proactive engagement with the BRMs.
11. Ensure understanding and appropriate due diligence for all sub-outsourcing across the third-party base.
12. Apply TPRM best practices to optimize contracts and improve outcomes, advising Senior Sourcing and Supplier Managers of opportunities.
13. Deliver regular clinics and communications to BRMs to aid and improve compliance to the TPRM framework.
14. Support BRMs in executing TPRM and serve as the primary contact with the P&P team for all TPRM queries.
15. Support the development and maintenance of a third-party risk management framework covering all phases of the third-party lifecycle.
16. Support the development and maintenance of tools and templates for third-party risk management execution.
17. Review TPRM assurance reports to ensure clarity in gaps and remediation activities, aiming for a materially compliant TPRM status, sharing themes via clinics.
18. Perform quality assurance tests on TPRM activities, records, and artifacts to ensure high standards.
19. Prepare TPRM assurance content, actions, and commentary for cost optimization meetings to drive improvements.
20. Manage procurement activities related to sourcing reports and maintain up-to-date TPRM records.
Experience, Knowledge, Skills
* Third-party risk management experience in Financial Services
* Experience supporting sourcing activities
* Knowledge of contractual and commercial terms
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Best practice in third-party risk management, ideally in Financial Services
* Policy and process development experience
* Knowledge of financial services regulation requirements
* Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills, including to Senior Management
* Excellent stakeholder management skills and relationship-building abilities
Qualifications
* Degree certification preferred
