Premier Education, a leading provider of educational and enrichment programs, is seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Dance Specialist to join our team. As a Dance Specialist at Premier Education, you will play a key role in delivering engaging dance programs that promote creativity, skill development, and a love for dance among participants. We are looking for an individual with expertise in various dance styles and a passion for inspiring students through dance education.
Responsibilities:
* Program Development:
* Design and develop comprehensive dance programs for different age groups, ensuring alignment with Premier Education's educational goals and standards.
* Create innovative and age-appropriate lesson plans that cater to the diverse interests and skill levels of participants.
* Instruction and Choreography:
* Deliver dynamic and engaging dance classes incorporating a variety of styles such as ballet, jazz, contemporary, and hip-hop.
* Choreograph routines for performances, recitals, and showcases, showcasing creativity and skill.
* Skill Development:
* Provide individualized instruction to help participants develop their dance techniques and express themselves through movement.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages artistic exploration and personal growth.
* Student Engagement:
* Establish positive and supportive relationships with students, promoting teamwork, self-discipline, and confidence through dance education.
* Encourage active participation and a sense of community among participants.
* Event Coordination:
* Organize and coordinate dance performances, recitals, and other events to showcase participants' achievements.
* Collaborate with other dance specialists and staff to ensure the success of dance-related activities and events.
* Safety and Compliance:
* Implement and enforce safety protocols during all dance activities to ensure the well-being of participants.
* Stay updated on industry standards, certifications, and best practices in dance education.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Dance, Performing Arts, or a related field (preferred).
* Proven experience as a dance instructor or specialist.
* Expertise in various dance styles with strong choreography skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Passion for dance education and inspiring students through creative expression.
