The ideal candidate must have the following exposure:
1. Manage cost to income to increase profitability and efficiencies for the business.
2. Enhance business performance and profitability.
3. Drive customer service delivery goal achievement in line with predefined standards and in support of operational objectives.
4. Ensure growth and increase in customer base by managing existing clients, generating new leads, and growing the active customer account base.
5. Develop and manage key stakeholder relationships that enable achievement of operational objectives.
6. Drive the achievement of customer migration by recommending solutions and improving efficiencies.
7. Set tactical goals and optimize the use of people, finances, and technologies to realize those goals.
8. Define a sales strategy and delivery plans in support of the strategic business objectives.
9. Assess and evaluate credit applications in accordance with the Bank's Credit Policy and within set time frames.
10. Ensure compliance with legislative and audit requirements and adherence to relevant processes.
11. Compile reports that track progress and guide business decisions.
12. Continuously assess own performance, seek feedback, and request training where appropriate.
13. Manage people by executing line manager responsibilities and creating an environment that encourages employee growth and performance excellence.
You will be an ideal candidate if you:
1. Have obtained 3-5 years of Commercial Banking experience in a similar role.
2. FAIS Accredited qualification (NQF level 6, 7, etc.).
3. Exposure to Credit Applications in a commercial environment.
4. RE qualification.
5. Credit Management exposure is a must.
6. Experience in dealing with high-level customer queries.
7. Ability to structure deals.
8. Ability to acquire new clients.
9. Ability to manage and maintain client relationships.
10. Maintain existing portfolio of clients.
11. Not be an unrehabilitated insolvent.
