Salary: £70,000 - 70,000 per year Requirements: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with strong experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines (YAML), Repositories, Boards, and Artifacts. You should have a deep understanding of DevOps principles, Agile delivery, cloud engineering, and modern automation practices. Hands-on experience with Azure cloud infrastructure and on-premise to cloud migrations is essential. Proficiency in core engineering technologies such as .NET/C#, Node.js, React, PowerShell, Bash, Git, along with networking fundamentals, is required. Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and both Windows and Linux servers is also important. Additionally, strong containerization and orchestration expertise using Docker and Kubernetes is expected, along with familiarity with supporting tools like Helm, Docker Compose, SonarCloud, CrowdStrike, and broader DevSecOps solutions. Responsibilities: As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in evolving our cloud and automation capabilities. You will work closely with development teams to streamline delivery, modernize infrastructure, and support large-scale transitions from on-premise environments to cloud-first solutions. Your responsibilities include automating environment builds, deployments, and testing across Development, Test, Pre-Production, and Production environments while integrating quality checks into CI/CD pipelines. You will maintain and optimize test environments, source control processes, and data refresh routines to ensure consistency, security, and adherence to best practices. Furthermore, you will support reliability and performance through monitoring and diagnostics, collaborating with development teams on load and volume testing. Managing repositories and web server configurations (NuGet, npm, IIS, Node.js) will also be part of your role, where you will identify opportunities for process automation and operational improvements. Producing clear documentation and providing guidance on cloud configuration and DevOps best practices will be essential aspects of your responsibilities. Finally, you will ensure compliance and security by collaborating closely with internal and external audit and security teams.
