Straight-Line Civils are currently hiring a Welding Coordinator to join a growing and successful team permanently. Key Responsibilities: * Review welding requirements * Issuing weld consumables and procedures * Put together weld history sheets (including maintaining weld maps) * Support the calibration and maintenance of the welding plant and equipment Applicants must be able to demonstrate: * Experience working in a manufacturing environment * A strong understanding of welding and fabrication * Organisational skills with a methodical approach * Proficiency in IT systems, including word and excel Desirable Skills and Experience: * CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspection qualification (ESSENTIAL) * Knowledge of NDT techniques - visual, MPI, DPI * Hands-on welding experience with TIG, MIG, and STICK processes (a minimum of 1 year) This is a full-time, permanent position. * Salary - £35,000 (day), £46,000 (night)+ company pension and free on-site parking * Overtime Rates - weekday T 1/3, Saturdays T1/2, and double days Sundays * Day Shift Pattern - Monday – Thursday 8:00 am – 16:30 and Friday 8:00 -13:30 * Night Shift Pattern - Monday to Thursday 17:30 pm - 3:30 am If this sounds of interest, please apply now!
