Job Description Job title: Senior Construction Liability Underwriter Salary: £60,000 Location: Homebased OVERVIEW An excellent opportunity is available with our client and we are looking to connect them with an experienced underwriter to join their team. The role involves underwriting transactional risks in accordance with the binder parameters laid down by their insurer partners. RESPONSIBILITIES Underwriting transactional risks in accordance with binder parameters Quoting new business cases and renewing existing policies primarily on contracting business Quoting new and renewal construction and contracting business for various sections of cover Developing broker and insurer accounts throughout the UK Promoting products to brokers via telephone and broker office meetings Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements Maintaining and developing agent relationships Reviewing business issues with broker account managers and supporting resolution as necessary QUALIFICATIONS At least 2 years liability underwriting experience with an MGA or Insurer preferably in construction liability.
