Hours Per Week: Full-time position, 37 hrs pw Start Time: 9:00 AM End Time: 17:00 PM PAYE Rate: £11.44 ph Job Description Admin Business Support Officer We are looking to hire an enthusiastic Admin Business Support Officer to join our friendly and supportive team in the Highways Department, where they will assist the District Lead team with their key work. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing administrative support, including managing casework for county council members, MPs, and District and Parish Councillors. They will also assist the Complaints Officer in handling highway complaints, follow guidelines for the formal complaint process, and accurately record requests and information received via email and phone. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for data processing, setting up new cases and project demands, and providing support for meetings, including arranging dates, room bookings, preparing agendas, and taking minutes. They will also respond to and resolve inquiries generated by the services where appropriate. The role will involve working closely with colleagues within several teams, and the successful candidate should: Be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and experience. We currently have a hybrid work arrangement that involves both remote and in-office work. To ensure seamless work from home, it is mandatory to have a conducive workspace and a stable broadband connection. Our working hours are fixed from Monday to Friday, between 9 am and 5 pm.
