Ocean Housing has an exciting new opportunity for a full time Supervisor within their Property Services Repairs function.

Under the overall management and guidance of the Property Services Manager will have day to day responsibility for delivery and coordination of a high quality, efficient value for money customer focused service ensuring projects achieve the required quality and targets.
* Provide effective and efficient line management of operational staff who undertake servicing, repairs and renewals and ensure all works undertaken meet the standards of Ocean Housing Property Services in relation to delivery timescale and quality
* Be the first point of contact where problems or issues arise and take responsibility to resolve them with operational staff
* Carry out inspections to determine work requirements and are raised and progressed in line with policies, procedures, specifications and time targets
* Responsibility for specific delegated work area budgets. Ensure the monitoring and financial decision-making process is at all times value for money and in-line with the Company’s financial regulations
* Responsible for managing, motivating and co ordinating the team, including the production of both team and individual standards of performance and work targets.
* Manage team and individual performance in accordance with Behaviours Framework and company Values. Actively promote and encourage adoption of the Behaviours Framework and company values amongst the team, ensuring that team members are supported to deliver services in the spirit of the framework
You will exude a positive and welcoming persona and have good interpersonal and communication skills along with be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and remain calm. You will ensure Team members value equality, diversity and inclusion and takes appropriate action when there is evidence of discrimination or inequality.
As a Supervisor you will be required to form part of the out of hour’s rota to provide supervisory support to those multi trade staff on call.
The post will be subject to a satisfactory Basic check via the Disclosure and Barring Service.
