Planner – Construction
Location: Glasgow (office-based with regular site visits across Central Scotland)
Salary: Up to £73,000 (dependent on experience)

My Glasgow based client is looking for a Planner to support their growth on a permanent basis.
My client is a thriving company specialising in commercial refurbishment projects and selective newbuilds.
About the Role
Reporting to the Bid Manager and Construction Manager, this is a key role in ensuring accuracy and consistency in project planning and progress tracking. You’ll work across both pre-construction and live sites, producing robust programmes for tenders and updating them as projects progress.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare master programmes for all tenders using Microsoft Project.
* Visit live sites to update programmes and provide accurate progress reports to the Construction Manager.
* Ensure consistency between planning data and site-level reporting.
* Support the bid process with detailed and realistic programmes.
* Collaborate closely with project teams to identify risks and mitigate delays.
About You
* Minimum of 3 years’ planning experience in construction OR a Project Manager with proven experience programming projects in your current role.
* Proficient in Microsoft Project.
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate, realistic programmes.
* Excellent communication skills and the confidence to work across multiple projects.
* Organised, proactive, and able to work independently.
