Working Hours:
Monday - Thursday: 7:30am - 4:30pm
Friday: 7:30am - 1:00pm (early finish)
We are currently recruiting for a CNC Miller to join a well‑established precision engineering company based in West London. The company specialises in precision gear cutting and high‑tolerance machining, supplying complex components to industries including aerospace, defence, medical and precision instrumentation. This role will involve setting and operating 4‑axis CNC milling centres, producing precision components to tight tolerances.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Set and operate 4‑axis CNC milling machines
* Machine precision components to tight tolerances
* Work from engineering drawings and job packs
* Carry out basic inspection and quality checks
* Maintain high standards of accuracy and repeatability
* Work as part of a skilled machining team to meet production targets
Requirements
* Experience as a CNC Miller / Setter Operator. Ideally Programmer Setter.
* Experience running 3 or 4 axis CNC milling machines
* Ability to read engineering drawings
* Experience machining precision components
Desirable but not essential:
* Conversational programming
* CAD/CAM experience
* Good attitude and ability to work well within a team
