We are working with a highly exclusive hedge fund, who are looking to hire a Fund Accounting/Operations Analyst to cover take full ownership of the reporting of the fund of funds and developing models.
This is an incredibly broad role covering fund accounting, trader assistant work, risk, valuations, and operations, giving you exposure the full workings of a fund. They have a highly varied and complex fund so this will be required to do complex reconciliations on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. They’re currently working on projects to automate a number of manual processes, so a key part of your initial responsibilities will involve supporting and contributing to these initiatives. The fund has some high-profile investors, so it is essential to have exceptional attention to detail as you will be supporting with preparing marketing material, due diligence, and reporting.
For this, we are looking for junior candidates who have 2-4 years experience. Experience working in a fund administration firm is highly desirable along with exposure to SQL/VBA or similar.
The firm are looking to pay up to generous base + bonus and will support any ongoing study towards ACCA/CFA. They have incredibly low turnover which reflects their positive working environment. Hybrid working with 4 days in the office and increased flexibility working over Christmas / Summer holidays.
