Job Summary
To support the company's operations by servicing and repairing all Stonehealth machinery/equipment in the workshop, and occasionally onsite around the UK to support field service engineers. Reporting to the head engineer.
Responsibilities
To service and repair machinery/equipment following procedures to the highest standards within the workshop.
To service and repair machinery/equipment following procedures to the highest standards on customer sites around the UK on an occasional basis to support field service engineers engineers. Sometimes overnight stays may be required.
To assist with enquiries and technical support on a daily basis to both customers and architects/specifiers.
To assist with stock control as and when required.
To carry out regular checks on company tools and equipment.
Occasionally required to prepare, pack, wrap and palletise orders safely and securely for sales orders, ensuring that they are suitable for transport and to reduce chance of damage during transit.
To organise and maintain a safe and tidy workshop, lower warehouse and upper warehouse.
To ensure that all health and safety procedures are adhered to and to uphold company standards at all times.
To assist with other departments as and when necessary.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
A sound background in both mechanical and electrical engineering and the ability to fault find and problem solve.
To hold a valid driving licence.
A positive attitude towards occasional work travel, working in the field and having the ability to adapt to all working environments/circumstances.
Effective verbal skills and ability to work with people in a variety of circumstances and from various backgrounds.
Possess a thorough, organised and detail-oriented approach to work
Plan, prioritise, and coordinate, multi-task and complete work assignments within deadlines.
Able to apply effective time management and self-management skills.
Progression
