We are looking for a teacher who will commit to planning and delivering a high quality, interesting curriculum that challenges and inspires all students in the Science Faculty within an outstanding Secondary School.
Responsibilities
* Support students and instill a love of Science
* Deliver a high quality, interesting curriculum
* Plan and deliver lessons that challenge and inspire 11–16 year old students
* Maintain an enthusiastic approach to teaching and a passion for the subject
* Demonstrate excellent ICT skills to make learning visible in the classroom
* Undertake a pastoral role as a form tutor where applicable
* Get involved in trips and extracurricular activities and engage with wider school life
* Participate in ongoing professional development with coaching and mentoring opportunities
* Hold QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree
Qualifications
* QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree
* Enthusiasm for working with 11–16 year old students
* Thoughtful and self-reflective approach to pedagogy
* Desire to be an outstanding classroom practitioner
* Passion for the subject
