Overview
An exciting position has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to undertake the role of Medical Secretary within Health Records Services.
You will have proven secretarial experience and audio typing with a working knowledge of office procedures and IT applications. It is essential that you are an excellent communicator with good interpersonal skills, able to work on your own using initiative, as well as working as part of a team. You should have good typing speeds, knowledge of medical terminology and be able to prioritise tasks to enable you to work within a timescale. Very good organisational skills and flexibility in approach to work are also essential.
Responsibilities
* Provide secretarial support and audio typing; maintain office procedures and IT applications as part of Health Records Services.
* Prioritise tasks to meet defined timescales; demonstrate excellent organisation and flexibility in approach to work.
Qualifications
* Proven secretarial experience and audio typing with knowledge of office procedures and IT applications.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good typing speeds; knowledge of medical terminology; ability to prioritise tasks within timescales; strong organisational skills.
